First Contact

When you contact me I will arrange for you to see me for an assessment.  This session will help us to decide whether we can work together.  There is no pressure for you to decide straight away – you can go away and think about it before you decide whether to go ahead or not.

Once we have agreed to work together we can arrange ongoing sessions.  To begin with I like to see clients weekly to build up a working relationship.  Later we can negotiate the frequency of your sessions.

All sessions last for 50 minutes. 

How long will counselling / therapy take?

This depends on the clients needs – it can vary from short term counselling which usually consists of 6 - 12 sessions or longer term psychotherapy which can be for as long as you need.

How much?

I charge £40 per hour. 

Charge for cancellation

I require 24 hours notice to cancel a session otherwise the full charge will apply.
